List 10 books you have on your bookshelf that you think nobody else on your friends list has on theirs.
I wasn't sure whether I'd have anything unusual and then I got to looking and discovered I do have some things not everyone probably has.

2. The Howling Man by Charles Beaumont
3. The Illuminated Language of Flowers by Kate Greenaway
4. Nadya by Pat Murphy
5. No Bed of Roses by Joan Fontaine
6. Romancing the Stone by Catherine Lanigan (a.k.a. Joan Wilder)
7. Field Guide to Demons, Fairies, Fallen Angels, and Other Subversive Spirits by Carol Mack
8. Films of Gene Kelly by Tony Thomas
9. Vanity Fair's Hollywood by Christopher Hitchens
10. Charms, Spells, and Formulas by Ray Marlbrough
I don't know how many people are from the U.S. on my friends list but ... is anyone else having a problem with finding gas for your cars? Nearly every single gas station in my area is out of gas and those that AREN'T out are cutting pumps off at 2 p.m. today and not opening again until tomorrow. I almost didn't get home last night because there was no place to get gas. I had just BARELY enough to coast home but there's no way I'm going to be able to go out again. I'm sure that just cranking the car up will use up the rest of the gas in the tank.
I was so excited last Monday for the Heroes premiere. I still love that show. It's good to see that some things never change. Like Mohinder being a complete and total idiot. Unfortunately they seem to be wanting to give Hiro that streak of idiocy too. :( FAIL. I've heard a lot of people talking about how they <3 super-fast girl that is nemesis to Hiro. I do not love her. At all. Hatred is the word I would describe and ... yes, that might be a little strong but I felt the same towards Ana-Lucia when she joined LOST. Anyway, I do love this show though and will watch even though I bet we'll find out that Parkman is a Petrelli soon.
MAN! You would not BELIEVE the traffic we have at the library now. I saw an item on Good Morning America about how people are starting to use the library more because a> it's free and b> it's free! It's fantastic. I love my library. Unfortunately I do not love the new breed of patron we've been getting who want to demand, demand, demand and then not bring the items back. *THWACK* Also, who steals from the library? Honestly? It's FREE! All you have to do is check it out and you can watch the DVD as many times as you want or read the book as many times as you want. You can even bring it back and CHECK IT OUT AGAIN! You would not Believe how many DVDs we have lost. It's insane. My co-worker purchases the DVDs for our library and she bought the Christy complete series TV show DVD, you know? Someone took the whole set and put them in their backpack or something and walked out with them. Ridiculous!
I am so excited! I have The Fall on DVD! I get to watch it tomorrow! I can't wait! I hope it's as good as my brain keeps telling me it will be. The reviews were horrible. Well... doesn't really matter. At least there's Lee Pace to watch. He's fantastic. I watched Miss Pettigrew Lives for the Day and he was great in that. Well, I can't single him out. The entire cast was FANTASTIC. I need to own that movie.
Well, I think I've babbled on about absolutely nothing long enough. I've got two storytimes next week that I need to prepare for. I hope you are all doing well! *hugs* *massive hugs*
Much love to everyone!!
